Are odd blades ever any use?
Is it ever possible to blance up a pair from two odd blades?
If so I might stick to one brand in the hope I have another odd one survive a crash.

ive dont it with woodies. the amount of tape i needed was rediculous but it did the job. i tried to use a 315mm carbon and a 335mm carbon blades and ground the 335mm down to 315mm but it was away heavier. in fact the 335mm had a length of steel inside the leading edge. i thought it was all carbon, no wonder it was like a brick.

btw the amount of extra weight i needed for the carbon blade was the same as the weight of a 4mm size allen key so i binned them.

      Yes.
I've seen a set of Radix and a set of Vs come together this way
Not mine... but they worked perfectly - just have to get the weight and balance right.
      Cheers,

they should put this steel rod inside the 315mm blades i noticed the 335mm were much stronger and handled a beating before 1 broke, even hit a fence and just got a tiny dent.
i snapped a pair of 315mm both in half when they hit my curtain, i wont be gettng those again.

I thought all the bladess had a metal wire in theleading edge at the tip - all the ones both carbon and wood I have broken have anyhow.

The c of g near the tip has to be near the leading edge or it tries to flutter.

The wood trex450 blades I had odd were usually too far off to balance out.
I never had an odd carbon one, always broke both - the my first radix are still running and taken so much abuse I'm prepared to tempt fate by saying so.

I hit with the raptor 3 times now breaking blades and this is the first time I had one survive, even after an impressive piece of turf cutting (maniac603).
I'll save up for another set of maniacs then.
