Holographic tips-Thx Coolice

Like to say a big thanks to Coolice for cutting me out some of his fine holographic blade stickers (and for such a great price), My first impressions are they look mint, defo up to the fusuno standard and great shape. They fit beautifully on my 325mm spin blades and my 600mm align's, just cant wait to fly with them, will for sure get some nice pics of them in flight!!!!

Hey.

A bit of both really I'd say, as the picture above shows the film catches the light and highlights the main rotor disk. If you only have it on one side, say the top surface for example, then if you see the film you know you're seeing the top of the rotor disk.

It does look the best in the light, but it works on most models I've found from my little MCPx which has tiny pieces on, to the larger 700's.

I have them on my Maniac 553mm's & love them. Everyone needs a set of blades with holograme stickers as they look fantastic on a perfect sunny day.

Blades shouldn't leave the factory with out holograms on them! FACT Lol

thanks for clarifying this Ian, I do have similar tips on my blades and wondered if this was weight, bling etc ... probably I wont see the difference before I get to the stage where I see the disc from that angle ...

I really like em, and maybe id be iterested in some for the top and bottom of my blades and some for my tail aswell

I've been using NHP one's on all my 3D helis for a while now (cut my own), only thing with using them on a nitro heli is the nitro will fetch them off quite quickly and strip the hologram from its backing, the only way i know to stop this happening is to very cearfully go round the edge of the sticker with a thin stripe of clear nail varnish, this pretty much stops the holographic sticker lifting and nitro getting under and messing with your functional bling!
