These look like fun - anyone tried them, or know where you can get them without using fleabay?

I've had about 4 or 5 sets off him. They do look good on a sunny day (so not very oftern then ) and have stayed well stuck to my blades but I have this nagging feeling that the actual cost of these things is about 50p each.

Looks very much like the stuff they used to use on BMX's. Find a good bike shop and you'll probably get that by the roll

I use to buy them form Heli Direct, I have still got some lying around somewhere but I have stopped using them for 2 reasons. 1. the lack of sun 2. Under hard 3D they tend to flap loose and make a horrible noise as they flap around and rip off.

Isn't it V Blades that came with them on as standard?

I think I asked this question before about where to get that stuff, after seeing a few heli's at 3DM with them on. I beleive good art shops will sell it, sticky backed.

I got some off a stand at Sandown. Looked good when the sun came out (the what? ) and didn't come unstuck. Killed them in a crash and didn't bother again as I only saw the effect so rarely.
They were electric blue which matched the Quick UK boom and other bits, which was nice
