  • Thunder Tiger Baldes?

I've just brought a set of 600mm CFK Thunder Tiger blades from Midland for my T-Rex 600, I received the blades today, but one of them has been drilled out and filled with something is this so the blades are balanced?

What do people think about the Thunder Tiger blades? I hear'd they were quite good for the price.

    Cheers

Used these blades on my Syphide 50 and now running them on my Trex 600 .I think there good value for the money and work well.
Never noticed any balancing holes but it is fairly common .
If it's not fun, your not doing it right !!

I got a set for my Raptor 50 took of a set of sabs and bolted them on tracking was out by three inches but once the traking was set, I was very impressed with them for the price .Fast cyclics and longer autos shame about the traking but hey there cheap and work

Just put some on my Raptor 50 - tracking was near perfect.

Little 'plug' near the end of one of the blades is for balancing. I just wish they would make the plug white

I bought them for my Rappy after a spill because of the good things I had heard about them for the price.

It would seem it is for balancing but I would call Midland and let them know as maybe they could pre-empt the worry if they told customers?

"When you receive them dont worry...its a plug for balancing" would actually add value to the transaction as then you would know that they had been balanced?

Can you tell a differance between the SAB's and the TT blades?

I have rang Midland and they have confirmed it's for balancing purposes Matt said he had, had quite a few phone calls about them! Good job it's underneath however the filling doesn't sit flush with the blade it's slightly raised will this cause a problem??

              Cheers

                AGW

They are very similar in performance to the Sabs i use,i have both type of Sab`s 60cm blades, the standard carbon ones at £39.95 and the Kevlar reinforced ones at £49.95

The Kevlar ones are stiffer than the normal Sab`s and the TT ones are somewhere in between

If i was flying a heli, apart from actually seeing the blades i couldnt tell them apart by performance in the air alone

                  Sounds good

Do you have the balancing hole in the TT blades you have?
