  • New Stiffer NHP Blades

Had my first flight today, with a set of the new Stiffer NHP Blades.

Only had one flight but I am liking the blades already, comparing them to the BBT Blades, they are so much faster on the cyclic compared to the BBT Blades but don't have as much energy left in the auto-rotations and are much sharper on the pitch.

Anyone else running these blades? will be nice to hear what your thoughts are on them.

    Thanx, Brian.

they are definitly a massive improvement. Almost as stiff as Vs so you gain the crisp stops in rainbows etc.

they still arent quite as good as Vs in respect to accuracy but they are a lot less money so you cant have everything!

I'm at the other end of the spectrum... Ive been using the 600mm JP carbon blades at £35. They are fine for where I'm at right now, just getting my circuits neater and doing basic rolls, loops and the like.

But, I have fitted a set of the new Irvine Carbons to try. They are an amazing £25 for a pair of 600mm Carbons!

Yep, I've broken a set already

These were the ones test flown by a well know model shop owner, who said on handing them back, "na, don't like them". . . . .guess who sold them to me ?

I'm back to BBT's now (only got them in the first place as BBT's were out of stock) . . . . . BBT's are still better all round, and cheaper

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

These blades are very good value for money. They only cost £45, where as the V blades cost £130.
