blade difference
Just a quick one. Apart from the obvious materials, and price, what and how much of a difference is there a difference between wood, glass, and carbon blades?

There is a huge difference mate! I killed a Raptor 50 by flying in idle up with wooden blades (I was flying alone and didnt know about this forum!). Anyway, the blade ripped from the blade root and the heli exploded mid air. Not the best way to start my heli career!! Anyway, I got myself some cheap carbons after that for learning (with a second heli!). Woodies are fine for hovering and gentle circuits, nothing more.
