  • After words of wisdom on blades for Trex 600n

Being a newbie I am after your thoughts on main blades for my Trex 600N. I guess I will be buying spare ones at some stage soon (hopefully not) and am undecided whether I should get glass fibre or carbon fibre. I don't want to get cheap nasty, but if the lightly hood of me breaking them while learning then I don't want expensive either.

So can you guys recommend good blades that are a reasonable price.
Trex 600 NSP and as my first proper Heli, I'm loving it.

BBT do Thunder Tiger copies for about £35. Look good and fly good too. They come with the Pro kits now (not the super pro which I believe come with Align blades).

Cant go wrong for the money.

BBT actually made the original TT blades, until they "fell out", therefore they are identical except for the missing TT badge

          Funkey silver blades at £40
Captain crash 600mm have a sport/3d version at £35 that is cheaper than the 3D version at £40
You are looking at £35-40 quid for blades.
You can use wood which are a lot cheaper but I think they are too likely to fly off if you have a setup that is not quite right and the head over revs. I would not use wood once you are flying about rather than purely hovering.

Dont spend more flying models than it costs to fly for real

I been using JP carbons from when i went from wood and not had n e problems with them either ... and cheap as chip £30 for 550mms and £35 for 600mms cant go wrong ... Wood aint that much cheaper and i would rather know that my blades aint gonna fly off at the root lol

How about some gct experts come in carbon or glass fibre and are roughly £35 a pair. But on the other hand i have torsions on mine and they have bit the dust a couple of time after dodgy auto landings and lived to tell the tale
