  • Raptor e700 baldes

Hi, Just wondering what blades people are running on their e700 and what they think of them.

Also on my e700 there is a very small bit of play up and down on the main shaft, any one know how to get ride of it?
I have not seen any shims on fastlad or midland, would this bit of play have any effect on the helis performance?

Hello, On my e720 and the e700 is the same you push down on the top bearing block then do up bolts to take up play on main shaft. If you look on page 12 of your manual there is a picture explaining.....

I've been running RJX 690mm blades on my E700, so far. I've only ever ran RJX on it but I have no complaints.

I just bought some Cyclone 695s which I'll be trying next time I can get to the field. I'm looking forward to seeing how they differ.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

                  Hi,

Sorry about posting in the old thread, but i am really curious to know how you got on with the Cyclone blades?

I have been considering getting a set.

To be honest, I've only flown them once, and that wasn't even on the E700.

They're sitting in the box as I'm too scared to fly them until the grass at our field gets a serious cut. The heli is practically buried on landing at the minute and it's easy to tip over.

That's a pity, i know the feeling as one of the fields i fly at has bumps everywhere. Don't know how the heli has not tipped over yet landing.

When you do get some flights on them let me know what you think. Apparently you can get 30 more seconds flying time which seems pretty crazy.

The chairman won't put the mower in his new car, that's the problem.

I'm not sure the farmer would go for weed killer, but it's not a bad idea I must admit.

I haven't tried them yet but, if you want RJX, it is worth considering this site.
