  • Blades for EP100

I hope you don't mind me venturing out of the Beginners Forum...

I've got a couple of GAUI EP100s. One is a 3-Blade, and the other is an 'SE Pro'. [ http://www.buzzflyer.co.uk/Sub-Micro...opters/c-1-97/ FYI.]

Both come with symmetrical wooden blades as standard. In my case, these are a bit unnecessary, as I'm not ready to go inverted.

On the 3-B, I'm happy with them, as it flies well, and battery endurance is fine.

By Comparison, the SE Pro needs a lot of head speed and collective pitch to fly, and the battery endurance is 5 minutes or less.

My guess is that the extra blade on the 3-B means it can get the necessary lift with less revs and pitch, it's therefore more efficient, and the batteries last longer.

On that basis, I'd like some more 'efficient' blades for the SE Pro. I'd guess that means non-symmetrical, or maybe slightly longer.

Am I barking up the right tree, and any suggestions ?
