Just to confirm I have vario blades on my 47g and they made a big difference. There is noticably more lift generated.

They are Vario semi symmetrical, 800m long RH rotation. I think the order number is 420 on the vario site.

            Hi Peter,

Thanks for the info. I have called up a shop to ask for the price for both Vario and SAB 800 mm. Hope they are reasonably priced....

            Cheers.

              Hi Gixxer,

I have to admit that I have minimal experience with gasser. I will try to look into the ignition system and if Pete get a success with ignition unit replacement, i might want to follow that route.

Thanks for the inputs. so, what should I look for to solve the misfire apart from changing the entire ignition unit and make sure sound wiring for pick up coil?

              Cheers.

Thanks for the info Peter. I found the 420 vario blade on the website but the root is 14mm? If i remember correctly (heli not in UK at the moment), the MK1 hirobo bell 47 G (with metal main blade grips) is with 12mm ?

Info from fellow flyers of MK1 regarding the root size will be very very much appreciated.
                thanks.

Vario 420 semi blades arrived. Will bring them back to Malaysia June to test performance. Hope it will make a big improvement.
                  cheers guys.

                  Safe and happy flying.

                    Hi Peter,

tried the vario semis and yes, noticeably more lift generated! thanks for the info and i am glad that my Bell 47G now can lift with no problem at all. highly recommended for fellow hirobo bell 47 G pilots who needs extra lift over symmetrical blades.

                    cheers.

                    Regards,
