  • Electric Start for Tanaka TAS 24cc Engine?

Probably a long shot, but let's try anyway!

My Bell 47G is almost complete and I cannot wait to get it down to the field. It is a stock Hirobo version with no modification. However I have heard that electric starting kits are available for one or some of the other gas engines (Zenoah perhaps?). Does anyone know if such a kit exists for the TAS or is it a case of roll sleeves up and disappear into garden shed and build my own?

    Thanks in advance

    Peter

you don't need an electric start
mine i just put the choke on pull the start until it splutters, take the choke off and away it goes
if you use it every week then it starts very easy
the first start up from being stood over the winter takes a little time
