It seems a general consensus that lots of gasser flyers like the generator setups that constantly keep the battery charged.
What generator do you guys use? I have seen the 'Jewel' setup from that guy in the states, actually that is the only one I have seen as yet.
The other possibility I am looking at would be some kind of very reliable regulator.
The bottom line is I want rock-solid on board power for this bird as it is big and expensive. I am using a Spektrum RX so very mindful of the 3.5 volt minimum as well.

I've just bought an X Cell Spectra and bought the Jewel generator from Raja in the States. For some reason I can't find the link to the thread I posted on this but he does various set ups depending on your needs. I've PM'd you his e mail address if you contact him I'm sure he'll sort you out. They're not cheap but I didn't want to take the chance with a heli capable of such long flight times losing power to the electrics or having to have a huge battery on the RX.
