I have just bought a predator and the tail is a bit twichy I am thinking of upgrading the gyro to a gy611 ,Any one ever used one on a gasser ?
and how easy are they to set up ?

there are better gyros available nowadays than that for less money if your buying a new gyro. have a dig about at what takes your fancy.

Have just taken delivery of a 611 but no servo ,in the manual it says only use the futaba s9256 ,will the gyro not work with other servos ?
( Hi Mike the spartan I was getting will be a week or two till i get my hands on it so I thought about the 611 instead ,p,s hows the camera ? )Comment

There is a way to set it up to use other servo's, not sure how to do it though. PM Raptorheli2, im sure he has done it & will be able to tell you how to change over.Del

you can change the servo if you go into the secret menu. HOWEVER, that would mean your using a 9254 and tbh i'd rather use an s148 than that. yet another one failed at my club on sunday there on a 401. i've personally lost 3 of them in 2 years and one of our senior members has lost atleast the same in same time. so thats 7 i know of in 1 club in 2 years.
buy the bls251 is the best advice.
