I'm sure they'll work fine... I know someone flying one in a 600. However, would you really risk your model and safety for the sake of saving a few pounds? You only need to open them up and you'll see for yourself the difference in quality of the soldering, pcb etc from a more expensive one.Trex 700n DFC - YS120, Spartan Vortex

I used one with reasonable sucess on a TRex 600 nitro.
I had various issues in getting it to work - mainly vibration related but when I did get it working and the settings sorted (which are miles away from those for a 450) it was OK to be fair.
However, I subsequently built a 250 and fitted a microbeast and was blown away by the relative simplicity of setting that up by comparison.
I had the 600 go in soon after. I'm 90% sure it was my fault but a niggling 10% said not. Just after that I had the 450 go in (with a ZYX also fitted) and again it was possibly my fault but the tail did blow out doing some hard (for me) 3D.
I then took the view that whilst the Tarot unit probably wasn't to blame I couldn't continue with the risk. All my helis are now equipped with BeastX's__________________________________________
