TAROT 3 Axis Gyro System ZYX01 or suitable FBL gyro.

Hi,

I really fancy a DFC head on my trex 500, however I'm on a budjet and don't want to spend a bomb on a FBL controller to do it.

Are the TAROT 3 Axis Gyro System ZYX01 any good? or should I get a 3GX or first gen Align 3G?!

That said I dont mind spending rather than f**king around with a sh*t controller!

Although I've never had it myself, it may be worth trying a "micro rondo" - AdieUK is selling one for £50. I am pretty sure it will be better than a ZYX and it's still pretty cheap. I think the retail price is 150 euros.

At that price I'd definitely get one over the 3GX.

Hi,I have personnally not seen the Tarot unit up close and working yet but I can tell you that there are tons of people on various sites and a friend of mine who can vouch for the unit and there are several videos on various different models being thrown around and it does look to be promissing, like most other brnaded unit's as long as it is set up to an inch of it's life and you fully understand what each tweak will do for the heli you cant really go wrong. If you google tarot zyx John N.Z. you will come across various threads and discussions, here is a link to the custom software and where to buy a bluetooth adapter for the unit.Rick

I have a ZYX-S on a 450 pro and it works very well. I replaced a 3GX with it and I definitely prefer the Tarot.

There's very little difference in price between the ZYX and the newer ZYX-S, and the newer one has more/better features.

my Volt 7 with a copterX unit..its even better now that ive done a better setup..help to be methodical and acurate...

go for it mate its so cheap a unit if you dont like it move on!
