tarot zyx s2 dx8 tail gain

hi guys, can anyone tell me if I have to disable/zero the tail gain in the tarot zyx software so that I can adjust it from tx? at the moment the software gain is 60 and I have 40 in my dx8, but adjusting it with the tx dosnt appear to be having an affect, thanks for any advice/info

Hi Loz,

I've got mine assigned to the GEAR channel and on the gyro switch (DX8) Rate mode is -70% Pos 1 is at +70% and Pos 2 is at 80%

The gain on the Tx is an overarching one for the ZYX gains. To specifically adjust the tail use the gain in the software main menu. If there are still issues, then go into the detailed menu and there you can further adjust the PID gains. There are some really good detailed explanations available in the HF flybarless systems sub-forum.

Hi Loz,
Apologies for the late reply, I've been looking for the USB lead to connect the ZYXs to my laptop. Here's a screen shot of how my basic settings
are, 100% gain on the tail.
