  • anti-static required for Zyx on 450

Been having scary uncontrolled movements from my ZYX on my 450. Seems to be solved by anti-static measure

may be a tip for those experiencing random 90 degree rudder movements or random cyclic movements

What did you do/use to solve it though?

i do have a fubar but its on another heli at the mo.

sorry posted in a hurry... kids eh. Simple low-tech solution - I ran a wire from the tail hub to the motor mount. Needed to remove the anodizing around one of the tail bearing holders so that there is a electrical connection from the tail output shaft to the tail case. Also need to remove the anodizing around one of the screws so that the continuity can be carried through the wire to one of the screws on the motor mount (although in theory any screw on a CF frame, although these have a lacquer on them also)

        hope that makes sense

oh, and this is a 450SE v2 with a belt tail
