  • SK540 + Futaba BPS-1

Has anyone tried using the Futaba BPS-1 with a Skookum and got it to work?

I understand that the sensor won't work until the engine is running, so if you turn over by hand you wont get a signal - not like a Spektrum sensor or the standard futaba sensor.

I have returned 1 to Ripmax already and they sent me a new one, but it still doesn't work

Just tried the Spektrum backplate sensor and it works perfect. I've still got the Futaba BPS-1 sensor mounted.

danch where are you reading about the BPS-1? Because futaba won't give any detailed info and Skookum say that it should work

This is far from the only device that can't use the BPS-1.

I noticed when looking at the documentation for the Spartan Vortex that Angelos has noted that the BPS-1 will not work as it is an 'they are analogue type'.
