They do work but they are only aileron elevator not 3 axis so you still need a tail gyro. I used one for quite a long time and was very happy with it until I tried vbar. If you want a cheap intro to flybarless you couldn't go far wrong with one of these.
I Had one on my Knight for about a year.
They do work well considering they're only 2 axis units. They'll handle any sport flying and mild 3D stuff with ease.
I guess for GBP 3.20 you can't go wrong.
It's best feature is a real switch, so you can turn it off if you don't like it
This was my 450 with Skookum unit before I converted to BeastX (and before it X-ploded...)
the video is just practising in front of a fixed camera, but apparently it's also good for some mild 3D.
