Hi, just wondering will the sk540 work with an old dx6i

Spektrum/JR Sats are the default setting for receivers in the SK 540’s interface. Newer Spektrum TXs (DX7se and newer) use 2048 resolution, older (DX-7, DX-6 and older) use 1024.

dx6i=yes its dsm2 or latterly dsmx. which the skookam is compatible with.

Hi, thanks. Someone told me due to the 6 channels i would not have control of tail gain do you know is this true also do you know of any problems i could have due to 6 channels. Or will it be a normal installation. Thanks

Shouldn't be a problem, was a problem with 3gx, but could be wired another way, download manual from there website there are wiring diagrams there.

You'd either have to choose to have a cyclic bank on your gyro switch or tail. It would be better to have this set for cyclic as unless your flying rate mode and HH, or high and low head speed you will leave the tail once set.

Cyclic banks are very useful for fine tuning.
