I just put V-Bar on two of my N-700's the first one is on my Wren 44 and it is perfect,
The second one is on my OS-91 machine that is setup exactly the same.
For some reason it wants to roll right when I hit the idle up or any punchy collective movements and also wants to roll over when on the ground, I have gone through the setup a few times and can not seem to figure it out.
It looks fine on the bench as far as swashplate movement, I must be doing something wrong!

    Welcome to the forum.
What V-bar full size or mini?
    Express or Pro?
and lastly what mounting tape are you using on the 91 machine?

      Thanks,
It is a new MIK 4991 Full size V 5.2, Express, I am using the tape that came with it, I have 5 N-700 machines with The align Flybarless and have been unhappy with the tail twitch that is inherent with them, I swapped my turbine Wren 44 over to the V-Bar because high frequency issues were messing up the Align sensor and I read that the V-bar was the way to go to eliminate that problem, I liked it so much on the turbine that I decided to swap over all my Heli's and am not having the same luck on the Nitro machine so far, It was flying great with the align that I took out of it.

Try a spartan tape that's what i use on my nitro machines and i don't use a strap, some do some don't i find it works well without,
the spartan tape is a little softer than the one v-bar has.

It really sounds like a vibration problem, If you had pro you could have down loaded the logs to be sure.

            How do I get pro,
I did not see an option when I purchased them.
I really don't think ity is vibration because it was working just fine with the align unit and its pretty smooth

To get pro connect to your pc with the USB and then click File>online update, wait for the box to show and read the V-bar then click on the 5.2 pro and follow the instructions "Carefully" you will then be taken to the Mikardo site where you need to register and pay for the update by paypal when is all done, start again from the beginning and it will load the new firmware.

                Thanks,
What about the condition, Could it be a gain problem, The cyclic needs constant input while spooling up and down or it will flip over in any random direction, Once in the air it hovers fine but the second you touch the idle up it tilts hard right and once it is righted it is fine but any hard bangs or switching back to normal and it goes right, once on the ground you need to hold the rotor or it will roll over.

Can you connect with the USB and make a screen dump and post it as a picture?
then we can see how you've got things set up.

It was the Tape!!!!!!! I put on some 3M tape that I use for mounting other stuff which is a stiffer plastic tape and it straightened right up.
                      Thanks For the input!
