Mini V-Bar works exactly the same as the Full Size version.

Sorry mate I failed to spot the "Failsafe"

It must be a setup issue though, Mine works fine.

If you using Spektrum sats did you bind in Hold at zero deg?

if I remember correctly, the Spektrum satellites don't tell the V-bar whether or not they are in failsafe. The signal looks the same.
I'd have a look at my Spektrum manual instead.

PS got bitten by failsafe myself on the trade fair in the weekend after rebinding to a different mini V-bar.
Had to wrestle down my 450 after turning off the Tx which wasn't that hard but embarrassing nonetheless

Thats what it suggests in the software on the bind screen dialouge.

Cant remember doing it either, mine hold all controls and cut throttle when failsafe activates.

                Hi Nick,

There is 2 modes of fail safe on the vbar.

'Spektrum satellites digital centre 1 or 2' which puts all your cyclic and collective controls to digital centre and puts the throttle hold to your set position in the bind process

                or

'Spektrum satellites 1 or 2' which holds your last cyclic and collective position and puts your throttle to the set position in the bind process

All this is configured in the Receiver setup tab

I always use the second option!!!!

Cheers Mattie, you prefer it to stay on last input rather than midstick??

                  I picked spektrum dsm-x sats 1 or 2

                    Definitely :-)

If your in say a hurricane and the radio fails I would rather know that the model would keep its same course and just lose power rather jump to a course that I wasn't expecting.

I bought this discussion up on the Vbar forum about a 1 year ago. After lots of posts, they kindly made this an option that you could hold all the controls.

Spekturm receivers have done this since their introduction.
                    Cheers Matt
