Mine are always active but i never use it. -
The swash will blip twice I think to let you know its armed.

As Chris said.
I've never found a need to perform an auto trim flight, and hardly ever are the conditions right in the UK. You can't have any wind for a proper trim flight. I leave mine off.Comment
