  • Trex 450 vbar up and down as if in high wind

    Hi Guys,

I've just converted my 450 to fbl using the Align 3g head and a mini V-bar.

I have tackled most of my vibe issues but there is still some way to go in
    this regard.

I'm finding the heli is moving up and down as if in a high wind situation.
This is the best way for me to describe the issue.
Tried a test flight indoors and the issue is still there.
Also tried various different head speeds to make sure this was not the issue.

I have also provided a link to the v-bar log below:

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6049515/log.pdf

(pls right click and select 'save target as')

Also worried about this part of the log:

1:38 Antenna Switched The Signal from one of the sattelites was missing. The Main reciver is switched over to the other
connector. In Case of a single reciver connected, one frame was lost.
1:39 Antenna Switched The Signal from one of the sattelites was missing. The Main reciver is switched over to the other
connector. In Case of a single reciver connected, one frame was lost.

I'm only using one sat and the V-bar, so whats it switching over to?

I hope someone can help out with some advice on what to try next?

    Surinder.

Any suggestions guys I'm really pulling my hair out with this?

Could it be a problem with the head itself?

All grips, bearings and dampers ok?

      What blades are you running?

What gain settings are you on?

Mine ran sweet pretty much stock settings with minor tweaks.

If you are on Pro, are you able to ost up your event log.

        Hi sacko,

        I'm running 3G blades

Head is new has new dampers etc..

Link to vbar log is in my first post.

Any suggestions on what gain values to try. Where do I find the controls for cyclic gain?
