I have an Hyperion phase sensor and want to setup the gov
Can I use port RxA for the sensor or do I need to use a y lead on either Rxb or Rxc

Don't forget you must not apply any power to any of the pins on RXA - They're all I/O's to the processor. IIRC Signal voltage from the sensor must not exceed 5v.Goblin 500 SportMatt

Top pin for signal I used to take power for the sensor from the sat port.

I had the Hyperion phase sensor on my 550sx ,am I muddled up but don't you need the hobbywing phase sensor as you are running high voltage or are you running 6v only ?Comment

Don, What ESC are you using? If its a castle and you're running the latest firmware on it, then only the hobbywing phase sensor will work. The Hyperion is an Analogue sensor whereas the Hobbywing sensor is digital. The newer castle firmware outputs to the motor in such as way the analogue hyperion sensor can't read it correctly.Originally posted by milly0812 View Post

Ah right, i have no clue about that esc but should you have any weird rpm readings in the vbar software (think mine was reading 3 times higher than expected with the analogue sensor) then try the other sensor (assuming settings in the vbar are correct etc.Originally posted by milly0812 View Post
