sc 720 and bls 251 setting up

hi,
i binded my rx on my avant to my tx today. when i plugged all the servo wires ect into the rx and powered up i found all of the servos exept the tail worked.
do i need to plug it into the pc to tell the gyro what servo im running?

i havnt got any of the rods on yet so cant set up travel limits ect, i just want to know it works.

any info/ help?

Is the SET light lit? If its not, then you won't see any movement.

Also after making changes to the gyro settings you will need to reboot the gyro.

You do need the usb cable to select the speed or frame rate of the servo, but out of the box you should still be able be to use it.

i cant remember which ones were lit up but if it aint then do i have a problem or is it simply the gyro needs setting up

You need to connect the gyro to a PC and change the speed of the servo.
It'll work fine after you've done this. Thats what I did and no problems.

Out of the box by default the 720 is set for 1520uS pulse width to the servo at 250 fps.

You need the pc interface cable to change the pulse width to 760uS and the frame rate to 333.
