Original Beastx

I have an original Beastx , not flown the Helli for 8 years or so, looking to upgrade firmware, I can’t locate a usb flash connector, not sure if the Bluetooth version will work on mine, can anyone advise, the confusion is I’m not sure if mine is a micro or not.

It's actually called the Microbeast, by BeastX, but we all got to calling it just a BeastX. https://www.beastx.com/eng/microbeast.php

I had one very near the beginning, I think on rev 2 firmware. I'm not sure how far you can update it. :-o

So im thinking the bluetooth update device will work

the early ones have a metal lower case. These can only be updated to V3.
Later versions are microbeast plus, they have a plastic case. They have an optional (Expensive) bail out safety function, and capability of accepting fancy new receivers in the side port which save a lot of wiring.

So mine must be the early one, can i use the blue tooth adapter to update, cant find an USB connector.
