Hey
I need a little help. I have also posted this on HF
This is my first BD / HC product!!
The heli is a goblin 570 KSE, servos are BK 7002HV, 2s lipo supply, futaba 14sg, R7008SB
I have gone thru the setup wizard thru to step 14, Servo neutral trim. I have eyeballed the servo horns are 90 deg to the lower set of push rods (servo to swash).
Once i got one set, i put a straight edge across to get the other two the same. I verified this by eye and they look perfect. I then set the swash leveller on, and only had to adjust one a few extra points. So all looking good so far.
Now just working on one blade for now, to rule out any errors.
I then set that blade along the boom, so the push rods are 90 deg to the heli!
I set that blade at zero pitch.
Goin ahead to step 17, servo travel. First thing i did was to set the coll pitch. I went to full negative, and had -13, went full positive and had +12. I checked the forum, went back and altered step 14 servo neutral by 4 points on each servo. I went back and reset that blade to zero, then gone back to step 17, i now have +11.9 and -12.1. That is set to 56 points in the software. I know this is low. Should it be between 65 and 85? and if so how do i acheive this? do i need to move the servo horn balls in to reduce the throw?
Next issue, still with the single blade pointing along the tail boom, is i went ahead and thought i would check the aileron travel. its currently on 82, but right i have 10.3 and left i have 11.7. Not sure how to correct this one.
I kinda figured if the collective is working out then the mechanics should be there?
Also when i release the elevator or aileron, it goes to shoot back to centre, but as it approaches centre it slows down. is this a function of the gain?
