Strange, its does not seem available in the UK, fast lads or midlands. Even tho the 3sx is. World of Heli have them in, but the BD online shop does not even list it.
If its the latest and greatest, i also cant understand why its cheaper than the 3sx.
Axon is 329 €
3sx is 349 €
The axon also comes with governor

Advertised pricing is probably so they dont p!ss off people who bought a 3SX for full list price just before the Axon release. Obviously only an idiot would pay more for the old 'obsolete' model than for the all new improved version, so they won't sell any 3SX at that price now. In a few weeks/months they will no doubt start discounting the 3SX heavily to get shot of old stock.
they have been for sale for a while now.
I've got one still in the box waiting for my second TDRII thats arriving tomorrow so i have something to build over the holidays.
they should be in the UK shops soon Germany got them first then Austria and Switzerland I got mine a while ago but rather then strip out the 3x from my speed machine i waited for the new kit.
thanks everyone, i would be interested in how u find it Paulice. Also the 3sx's u fly. The setup etc, and how easy it was.
I have read the axons seems to be really really close with the default settings.
I would like to know what a few of the settings are. like for the head, ratio aileron / elevator, direct control, decay rate, elevator filter. for the tail, lock in delay.
Also i am not sure i am understanding the horizon and rescue functions.
Am i right to say the rescue will move the heli to level (either upright or inverted, which ever one is quickest to get to) then climbs. The horizon is a self level function. is u fly with this on (if u want) and when u let go of the cyclic sticks, it self levels?
Is that right or am i miles out?

Yep, that's about it. Of course there are a number of FBL that have the same functionality these days and at a fair bit lower price than the 3SX or Axon. I have a Spirit Pro on my G630 and it works great, very easy to set up. It's got some really clever options in terms of stabilisation and rescue. For instance it's got an option that if when you hit the rescue switch inverted is the nearest orientation then the heli will climb away inverted, then after a set time it will automatically flip/roll upright.
