    WTF!!!

Connected with the rx and the cable loom so it does not allow for changing the channel assignments in the first screen so when it comes after the first set up flights, how exactly do we set the bail up in the tx??

Can't you use a spare channel and connect signal to the "head gyro" pin?
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

Bit confused by the posts above but I'll try to help as I've just set one of these up on a DX8.

I take it you are happy with your setup flights concerning tail and head gain inputs? If you have them stil set in the TX then these will overide any of the tail and head defauilt gain values you change in the Demon software. You have to inhibit these channels or re assign so that it reads these gains from the 3SX unit.

I have set my head gains but left my tail gain live so I can adjust as I run high and low headspeeds.

To set the bailout I use the rudder function mixed to the governor and used the trainer switch.

I found this pdf helpful and may halp explain how to understand the mixes used to get the bailout to work. Be aware of adding positive and negative figures together and this is where this pdf helps.

Post #43 for the v2.2 pdf (this is a better setup than at the beginning of the thread)

Hopefully the logic of the mixes there will help you with your JR TX

Only thing I would say is dont leave the bailout collective value on the default of 9.................very high very quickly. Start at 4 and go from there.

The things I changed from that setup in 2.2 is that I have 2 sensitivities of self levelling on the rudder switch and use my trainer button for Bail out(which I've switched over by taking the tx apart with the gear switch on my tx)
