I have a Gpro on my 600n and it generally flies quite well, however the tail seems to have a stepping feel to it.
With a small constant rudder input, a slow pirouette or gentle turn for example the Heli rotates in 5-10 degree steps, gives the impression of 50p piece in a gentle turn.
having come from FBL with just a single gain parameter I now have numerous parameters to play with.
Tail piro Rate. 100
Rud Gain 80
Rudder Expo. 50
Rud dead band 5
Tail acceleration 55
Rud Right stop 20
Rud Left stop 20
Rudder P Gain 80
Rudder I Gain 60
Collective to tail 22
Cyclic to tail 9
values shown are the defaults that I am using, are any of these obviously wrong for a 600 class Heli?
i have a reasonable understanding of the theory of these parameters but not sure what to adjust for this stepped response?
Almost seems like it has too little gain but anymore and tail oscillates in fast forward flight.
thanks,
