Gpro servo's

Hi Guy's

been trying to get the gpro setup, having problems, I can get it to bind no probs but the servo's are wont move, the tail servo just twitches, when I blug the speed controller in it just bleeps 3 time, all the servo's are getting power. the gpro connect to the pc software, the only thing I can change is servo direction on swash and tail servo from 1520 to 720 then the servos move. radio I'm using is Jr xg14 with align dmss remote sat

when I plug in my old 3gx all is fine. any advise

When you've done the bind disconnect & power up again then in pc software you then go into edit setup, see if you have stick movement to set your 100% end points.
I had same problem when I swapped tx's & from memory its like your old setup is still in the Gpro so my way around it was on each edit of setup I disconnect reconnected then back into edit setup, the tail servo I ended up setup up 3 gyro %'s for norm iu1 & iu2 then edit in software as beginner setup as its easier to make parameter adjustments to suit your flying style.

I cant set the end point for the stick movement

After you've done the bind are you disconnecting heli & then reconnect then shut down & reopen pc software you go to setup menu then edit current setup, you should then see the your stick inputs on the screen

yep I've tried that also, finding this a bit strange, even tried setting up different models, tried the align sat in port 1 and 2

Very odd because if it binds then should be able to go in to pc to carry on with edit setup.
I know i had grieve when i swapped out my tx & had to do the setup again on all four of my Gpro heli's, 1st heli was grieve but once i solved that one rest went smoothly.

Seem to remember back last year someone having similar problem with I'm sure same tx & sat, I've done bit of a search here but no luck, can only think it was on this forum so I'll have another search later when I've fired up laptop.

Just another thought could be worth pm'ing Ian (coolice) he's noligable with the Gpro & sats.

thanks for that, I've also had a look round and on other forum, still no luck, did put some posts up see if someone else has had the same problem. did find a couple that cant get it to work

did try at the club today, tried different ways to bind, power heli first then radio and then reverse, also re-installed firmware and pc software, still not joy

Is it worth asking tech boys at Align.
Weird that it binds with sat but no communication between TX & Gpro im assuming, still worth a pm to Ian as i believe he's also one of the tech boys.

Hey Buddy.

I've just sent you a PM.

As you're using an XG14, have you set the XBUS to mode B? I know this needs to be done, as mode A only works with JR's own FBL system and mode B is for use with other FBL units such as the Gpro, Vbar etc.
If this isn't set then you will be able to bind, but the signals going to the Gpro will not be recognised and give you the same problem.

Let me know if you've done this first.

Oh hang on, I don't think the Gpro does DMSS directly via a satellite plugged directly into the unit, this sat only works with the Trex 150.

You will need an Xbus receiver and use the Xbus single lead into the Gpro to work.
