In the process of building a TRex 500L Dominator with Gpro, if you mount the GPro in position 1 at the top, the ESC power wire is very short and it's a tight fit to get it to reach the GPro unit.
My question is: Is it ok to use a simple high quality JR servo extension cable to extend the length of the ESC power cable?
Or is it not worth the effort due to the problems it could cause?
The cable does fit, it's just very tight and inside the frame which isn't ideal, so would like to extend it if it won't introduce new power issues.
I am using the Align Super Combo kit with Align ESC/BEC, Align Servos & Gpro and will be running the BEC at 6V after my issues with 3gx.
P.S. i know about Align ESC/BEC low power issues but i will stick with this setup for now as i managed just fine with the Align ESC/BEC on my 450 pro even though many suggested upgrading the BEC or adding a separate BEC.
