Problem with 3G

Anyone know what this problem is? I have uninstalled and re-installed the Align 3G software 3 times and I get the same result. I had no problem with my 550E FBL when using this USB and software. I am now installing a FBL on a Trex 600E FBL and this is the problem:-

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ingor the error and attempt to continue, If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
(Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700B)

False alarm. You would think I would know after setting my own up and my sons that I would KNOW not to have the CONTROLLER plugged in when accessing the Sensor via the USB PC software and link????????

Just a thought have you had a go with a fresh download of the align Wed site ?

that looks like .Net framework complaining about a bad file. Make sure you have the most recent version of .NET, try "Run as" administrator for both the .Net and 3G install, and verify you have a working internet connection while doing it, in case it tries to download additional files.

Failing that, redownload the setup package.

If you do download it again, dont forget to do a ctrl f5 to force a refresh of the page, it is possible to think that your downloading it from Align when in fact your downloading it from a temporary file. Just a thought thats all.

I have a feeling it may be down to having installed the CSM SL720 Software and dongle drivers. I think there may be a clash on my Windows 7 Laptop. I shall install the software on my wifes Windows XP and see if that solves it. I can set the 3G up in DIR mode, but I want to make sure it is on 2.1 basic setting before I start tweaking it. THANKS for the suggestions.

Downloaded the 2.1 Update from Align onto the wifes Windows XP and restored the 3G to those basic settings. I will now be able to continue with the setup. I will throw the Windows 7 Laptop away later. Or perhaps just un-install the CSM and 3G and start again with it.
