What part you stuck on party boy?

Setting it up on the 3GX unit, or actually fitting the washout arms?

Hello Mate, Its just that according to the pamphlet you take of all the old head and mixing arms and fit the new mixing arms then the head but there are no other connections too the mixing arms

        That's right.

You should have a washout base fixed to the main shaft, with two arms fixed to the swash.

Thenvthe head goes on, with links going from the blade grips directly to the swash.

Look at your 550, as it's the same heads

Don't you need the shorter main shaft's on the Align 600?? when going FBL!! as I am also thinking of doing the same.

I already asked that question and the answer was 'NO'. I cannot see why they charge MORE for FBL shafts than for FB shafts with very little actual difference.

Along similar lines. I am converting one of my 600E FB to FBL. The problem I have come across is that the Linkage balls on the Swashplate are slack on the Pushrod Ball links that come with the FBL head. Do I need to change the Linkage balls on the Swashplate? Or just heat up the pushrod ball links to make them a better fit?

I perhaps ought to check on my 550E FBL to see if there are any differences in the Swashplate linkage balls? Any ideas???
