Software Settings for T Rex 700E and V3 upgrade.

Anyone have any software settings for the 3G V3 firmware and a T Rex700E?

My heli is now flying crap since upgrading a few days ago and I believe that I should be running both gains at 12 o'clock and reducing gains and other settings in the 3G software instead.

Currently I have aileron gain at just less than 12 o'clock and elevator gain just less than 11 o'clock.
Flyable but not that good and needs tweeking.

Tail gain has been increased on the TX and is better but not yet 100%.

I'm using a modified sensor.

Anyone yet managed to sort out a fully working set up for the 700e?

I`m at 160 in the software with main dials at about 11.00 and a Rudder Lock Gain reduced to 55.TX gain for the rudder is at 72% on my JR DXS9.

Getting a 'tremble' in the hover in all modes,a light wag in forward flight and a very fast wag where you can hear the tail blades going for it on full power climb outs.

Only have the random Align tail twitch every so often.

He's the man for the 3G, not sure if he's done any for 700E yet though.

Hey.

Just today I've been out tweeking and tuning my 550 V3'd 3G and its feeling quite nice so far, which I'm happy about.
What I will do is post these settings as soon as I am on my pc for you to try, as I am sure they'll suit the larger 700 modes well to.

Any chance that my CCHV80ICE governer gain is too high? Its at low (15) at the moment.

With the govenor I've had to lower mine to 12 from memory as I've stripped two cnc main gears do far at anything above this. Is suggest try lower the govenor gain as I'm now wondering if the problems you're seeing in a climb is through the govenor constantly adjusting the head speed and upsetting the model.

Out of interest what head speed are you running? The trembling in all modes has got me thinking.
Also do you have the 3G sensor mounted on the gyro platform and is it modded?

I wonder if this is partly to do with the problem.Is the helicopter likely to be more sensitive now with the V3 firmware?The overall gains higher?

The governer was pretty much OK with V2.1 but I certainly will get it reduced before the next outing.

Other stuff....

Sensor is modded mounted on the gyro platform on a Spartan Metal plate and Align Pad sandwich.

Headspeed in ID2 is about 2100 ( the max the ESC software will give me before an error message)

Still could be 3G setting problem so still interesting to see what you find after you have finished tweeking.

If I can cure that tremble when hovering that will be a start.

I upgraded my 700N & 550E to V3 software last week and had a chance to play with settings yesterday. I've had issues with the 550E specifically a violent pitch up in fast forward flight, I've tweaked the gain pots up & down and it still did the same so re-flashed the 3G with V2.1 firmware and my old settings, problem completely cured and flying well again.

With the 700N this always flew on stock 3G settings and was absolutely fine but with V3.0 I've had to make a few changes, the gain pots are now at around 10 O'clock instead of 12 O'clock and I had to increase the tail gyro gain from something around 35% up to 70%, the tail is much better but I still find the cyclics a bit nervous.

With mine its just the tail I've got problems with at the moment.

I've just dropped the Governer gain down to 12 from 15 to see if it gets rid of the tremble when hovering and the wag on level flight/full climb out.
No idea if it will work.

Can somebody publish successful settings for 700e. I have loaded the default settings but heli nods in forward flight and the tail overshoots in HH mode. Gyro gain on TX set at 50% But software says 38% ? I also set gyro up for large heli but software says small helicopter?
