HEEEEEEELP Please

right where shall i start. I've modded both my 3g with the silicone trick. On my 550 i noticed the i was still on ver 2 so using my 3g link dongle i dropped in the 2.1 update. This is where the issues started as i had a great deal of problems resetting the end points and when i tilt the model the swash moves very slowly and returns even slower. It doesn't seem as crisp as it was. I then went and put in the factory default for 500-700 in and although its flyable it just doesn't feel locked in and wanders about in the hover.
Any suggestions, have i just fooked things up. If there's anyone in the shropshire area who's clued up in these things that would be helpfull.

With the latest 3G firmware had same probs on my 500, you need to move the gyro as close to main shaft as poss, set pitch 14 degrees cyclic 12 degrees with with 550 being power hungry may need to dial in more degees, hope this help.
When you done the firmware & set model size did you have pods @ 12' If not set them to 12 then redo firmware & model size.
