does anyone have the settings for the gain on the trex 600 3g, a mate of mine has just brought it for his 600le, it has ds610's on 6v.

No real exact settings as all models are setup different. I started at around 11 o'clock on both, then dailled them accordingly. -
On my 600LE i have both gains at 11 o clock as Aidi has said.There was a bit of elevator bounce at 12 o clock although less than when it had the flybar head on it.
Not an exact science as they may differ from model to model/unit to unit.Comment

DS610's at 2s unregulated.
I have mine at around 12 o'clock with the 600. Sensor does not like soft mounting. With the Align provided foam, gains were around 9-10 o'clock. Changed to hard double sided tape and both gains now at 12. Extremely happy with the 3G, no issues. If you have oscillation while in FFF then you need to lower your ele gain. When it flies straight with no oscillation you're done. Mind you it does have a slight wobbling in hard stops from either walls or tick tocks.
Make double sure your cg is right. It does affect things quite a bit, mainly hover drift.
