  • TRex 600 3G FBL Maiden

One of the first 600 3G kits in the country. http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/t-re...pn-p-9505.html

Built it last week, grounded owing to bad weather but today managed a maiden flight, this is what I think

    What's the differance then?
Is it a 600 Le with 3g head and electronics?
Which engine are you using. Sorry see it now
I have a nsp with flybarless running a 55 and it scares the crap out of me
every thing is so big and fast
    well done

Yes as you say it's an LE with a FBL head and electronics and is basically the new consolidated 600 kit.

I am familiar with the VBar system and I bought this as a comparison, actually I like it alot: it is so easy to set up and it flies great, I am really impressed.

Fitted with an OS55Hyper...wicked fun can't wait for tomorrow..

What sort of pitch and Gain are you running ?
I ran plus and minus 12 and 11 on cyclic
I have turned the gain down to about 11 o'clock on the elevator
I think I will try different blades next time
still using a old align set think they called the C's the ones with the little black line.
Used these as I didn't want to break D's or Radix

Also it felt more unstable then a flybar? It was windy
        thanks
        Cheers Paul

They were the original D's Paul before they re did the design.
You think the 600 is mental, you want to try the 700, it rocks

11 degree collective and 10 degree cyclic.
Gains around 10 o'clock but I want to increase this with more time, very slight "wiggle" in hover but not a show stopper. (I think it might be owing to a small vibration?).

            Stock Align blades.

Quite windy today but as maidens go...this was a good one...very happy.

I wanted to have it as a comparison with VBar which is great - albeit a tad complex to configure; 3G a proper no brainer...really fantastic

You're gonna love it! Just follow the instructions and then set the gains to 12 o'clock, you'll be good-to-go.
