No the lead that goes to the sensor came out and sent the tail spinning out of control. Bent the shaft and done the tt gear and the rest I managed to save but on a plus not just done a hurricane with the 450 pro for the first time
I must admit the vbar one is a loose fit also - so I used a small piece of expoy to keep it locked into position. Sorry to hear the news - so without the sensor working how did the cyclic respond ?
From what i have read and seen the tail gets messed up the most, the cyclics remain usable but they are buggered all the same.
Some people have said it becomes super responsive on cyclic and others say it went all sloppy and horrible.
This was with the V Bar,i think either way the heli is gonna get broken hence why people drive home the importance of ensuring the sensor cable and all of the others cannot easily come out.
I bent the tail output shaft so I could not get it repaired as I not got one of those but everything else seemed fine.
I could tell that it was very sensitive so I will up the expo for next time but I will defo be using a small dab of super glue, just enough to hold it in and stop it coming loose again.
It will most defo be ready for next weekend but cos it done the TT gears I got to do that poxy job again, a real pain in the ass on the 600. Is it just mine or is the tail boom block a complete ass to seperate?
I did say to Jamie about coming down but will wait for the warm weather
Don't use superglue, you will never get it apart again, ask me how i know (i did the same thing on a tail servo plug in to a spartan). Use a bead of hot glue; its easy to break off when needed but wont vibrate off etc.
