I moved them to the outside. It looks ugly on the elevator arm, but it's not a showroom heli
My best guess is 10 mm as the ideal length for the Align head with around 33 mm blade grips (I use about 9 mm, but with a RJX head and 30 mm blade grip arms).
I'm still in the middle of tweaking the heli, but a friend shot a video yesterday. Bounce isn't really a problem, even with the stock Align blades (which I switched to Radix for the next flight):

Around 1:50 are some elevator stops where the heli is seen side-in.

any tips I am running the standard align setup. Batt, reg, servo's and 3g
I had the same problem. People down at my heli club thought it was a power problem. thats why I ditched the Align 2in 1 and went for the scott grey regulator. I had a quick flight yesterday ( and had no problems) but it's to soon to say it,s a cure

Since the earlier post I google it and some one said it's a bug that align know about and the software will sort it
        I hope they are right

          Hey All.

I thought I'd give you an update, bit late I know but still an update

The 3G went off to Align and came back with a clean bill of health, after reading about lead issues first thing I did was check the sensor to mixer unit and instantly found my problem I think.
As others have seen one of the connector pins was bent within the plastic plug casing, in this case the negative black lead and so was obviously loosing contact in flight

Quick fix, straighten pin out and reinsert, setup and go fly...... model is now spot on! In fact it is really good I think and considering it is still running V1 firmware flies awesome and many people have commented on how well it's flying.

I have mounted the gyro sensor using the Spartan metal plate setup and then an Align velcro strap lightly over the top of it to stop the sensor wobbling.
But the good thing is I'm loving this 3G unit now
