I spent some time this morning going thro my setup and I've also noticed my servos seemed very "rough" till at one point the cyclic stopped working, there was a "jitter" and everything came back. So I’ve now flashed 2.1 and behold everything is perfect. No glitching servos, rudder perfect. I think I will maiden it like this.

Well I finally got to fly my 700 3GX ( bought Oct 2012 and built in Dec , bad weather and no time) I upgraded to 3.1 and the twitching had gone. The tail problem is still there but not as bad. It flew ok, no problems but I only got 3 tanks hovering and gentle circuits to run in the new engine. I'll give it a bit longer but I suspect that with my type of flying I may convert it to flybared ( which was the intention in the first place, all the fb kits had been sold). Anthony

I flashed the 3.1 on my 3GX & ended up with a persistant wag until Coolice advised going into the software & reduce 'rudder lock gain' down from 75 to 45% You may also need to take a couple of % out of the tail gain on tx (trial & error) No wag now.
BTW my 450 is now very stable, take off/landings are a total non event & servo twitching has gone. I would advise flashing this software ASAP. My 450 flies with all the stability of my 550 fitted with V-bar.

The tail-twitch is nothing to worry about.
Fly it like you stole it.

It's not the tail that bothers me it's just that I don't get the fbl thing. At the moment flybar feel much better. Anthony
