3GX gain!!!

Gone through all the setup & all was fine until I was about to take off & the tail starts to wag uncontrollably so dropped ATV gain down to 30% & made no difference tried altering delay & that didn't work so where am I going wrong! cos theirs no separate gain lead like you would with gyro.

has it got gain on 3gx or transmitter gain

Manual says adjust gain in TX & to preset to 60%ish but not sure if theirs a channel in the 3GX there doesn't seem to be a communication between TX gain & 3GX also when I flick the gain switch it doesn't change to rate mode!

I had this you need to check the aux and gear channels are setup for gov and gryo gain mine were back to fromt and on the first flight had massive wag check your settings and report back

I cant find any info on this in the 3GX manual so are you referring to changing channels in TX!

From memory if you are using spektrum satellites the gyro gain is adjustable via Aux2's ATV's, this is what's happening on my 450 PRO which is using the 3GX as a receiver. I've not had to change the channel behaviour to gyro or govenor, just stock ATV's in my DSX12.

Out of interest what channel are you adjusting currently for gyro gain changes?

Worked out it was aux 2 was trying on the gain to begin with, test flying now & just done 2 lipo's tail feels reel good so think she ready for some 3D, got few more lipo's so report back in awhile.

I use 3G on 450pro and 550.
My 500 had BeastX and it was just so different I rarely flew it.
Put a 3GX on it 2 days ago and it's transformed, fly's so like the the other 2 now.
Piro's are a pleasure and tracks so true.
I have my 500 proudly back in my fleet and very happy with the Align 3G and 3GX.
Just bought a 600e Pro with BeastX, going to give it a try but have the 3GX ready and waiting, just in case.

How do you get on with the BeastX on your 250 and Mini Titan?

Brilliant service.
Might even let my son put it on 250 he's building rather than 3G from my 450pro as that's flying so nicely as it is, best not to disturb 3G, connectors too sensitive.
