3gx wont power up

Hi everyone,
got a major problem, whilst updating a 3gx the update was interupted and now wont power up to start again.
Is there a way to reboot at all?
please help.

Hey buddy.

Sorry to hear you've had a problem during the update.

The good news is this has happened before and can be fixed from memory. To do so you need to reflash V1 firmware as this is the main one, then go through the updates to bring it up to V5.

Any problems let us know.

Ive had a few do the same, on a couple of them it was just a case of re-binding them.

Try that first.

Thanks for this but Im a bit simple when it comes to electronics,
How do I reflash it if it won't power up as the pc cannot link to it.
Its also connected through a hitec rx

Up and running again, thanks to all help greatfully received.

I have a similar problem. I have set up my 3gx. It is v5. I then tried to bind it again to save all the settings. It wouldn't bind and now the 3gx is dead. I have followed the instructions to revert to V1.0 but it said operation aborted.
Now nothing I can do will make the 3gx do anything. The sats don't light up when I plug in the receiver battery.

Previously I had a problem with the rudder servo creeping round to the right. It only did this in heading hold, not in rate mode. I was hoping that re binding would cure it!

I am hoping to speak to Ian, Coolice. I am sure that he will know what to do.
