  • 3Gx + 1 sat rx or 2?

    Guys,

For small-heli applications like 250 and 450-size we often use parflyer receivers like the AR6110 which have no satelite rx. With a 3Gx FBL unit that can plug directly in to Spektrum sat RXs, how many should we use? Obviously I have 2 on my 700-size, but think that 1 would be sufficient on a 250-size. Do you agree and is it possible to use just 1 sat rx with a 3Gx?

It is possible yes but recommend flying it close in an make sure sat is not shielded in any way but obviously if your going to do big air stick another one on for safety .

Got to be honest but unless you tend to fly a really long way from you-then 1 sat is sufficient,,, only ever used 1 on all models up to 500 size-above that ,definitely 2 are needed,,, if you only use one sat then I found it best to mount on the boom-basically as far away from any carbon shielding effects that may happen.
