Put the power in to another port, bind then put back as it was, or you maybe able to use a y lead just to bind

When looking at the 3gx pins the bind plug goes in bottom right (horizontal) to upper pins.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Thanks both, I have tried both locations to no avail.

It appears to bind and the compensations work when you move the heli around but there is no control from the transmitter. On powering up a second time I just get the receiver light flashing?

Works fine with a sat so I am at a loss with it.

More info required, what receiver are you using? I take it the sat is plugged in receiver not 3gx?

Its a spectrum 6115e but I had the same issue with a 6110.
Powered through a servo port and the bind plug in the bind port, appears to bind, TX displays DSMX rather than 'transmitting' and the led goes solid on the rx. 3GX shows 2 red LEDs, compensation works but no controls.

Thanks for your help thus far

Binding of a Spektrum satellite receiver to BEASTX

DON'T FORGET YOU NEED VERSION 2 SOFTWARE AND THE CORRECT SATELLITE ADAPTOR!

This is how the BeastX Manual explains:

To bind a satellite receiver, it must be connected via the adapter to the MICROBEAST. Insert a
Spektrum® "Bind plug" in the [SYS] slot and turn on the power. The receiver is now (flashing LED on the receiver) in bind mode and can be bound to the transmitter. In cases where power is supplied exclusively by the [SYS] Connection, to bind a Spektrum® satellite receiver, the power supply must be provided temporarily through any of the servo port (CH1 - CH5). We recommend combining this operation simultaneously with the setting of the receiver type as described in Section 4.1. Do not forget to remove the „Bind plug“ after the bind operation. It makes no difference if you pull off the „Bind plug“ during the binding process or leave it connected. The failsafe adjustment is
made through a separate receiver menu point and not as for some Spektrum® receivers during the
                  binding process

IF THIS STILL DOES NOT WORK, PLEASE SEARCH IT IN THE BEASTX FORUM:-= BEASTX - BE ABSOLUTE STABLE =-
