I'm getting 3 more to replace the 3GX and ZYX units I have on my other flybarless helis.

What an excellent piece of kit!

I had a ZYX on my GAUI and the fubar is night and day better, glad your nitro maiden went well

Glad you like them,i have ordered a couple for spare units,its a steal at the price.

Been flying my 6HV again and i cant help but chuckle every flight at how damn good it is.

Cheers for the nitro heads up as we have a 600n to do.

Just tried to maiden the Fubarred raptor this evening.
So i connected the motor and powered her up, the Fubar when through the bind process fine & my Yep 100 ESC made all the right noises, but it the started continually beeping.
Is this something to do with failsafe? i have just plugged it back in to the laptop and all seems fine on the tx set up
Am i missing something obvious?

Think the ESC might need calibrating, Try powering on with full throttle then let it beep a few times then lower throttle.

Thanks, i will try that but i need my hands for work tomorrow lol!
Seriously though, what's the chances of it starting up full chat?
The ESC has a very soft start i suppose.

disengage the motor pinion and main gear or disconnect 2 of the motor leads from the ESC and it'll be safe. On the grounds you will need the motor connected to hear the beeps you're best off with doing the former. At the very least take off all the blades.

I have a programming card for the esc, so i think i will go through the set up again on that & like you say, take off the blades, at least there is no flybar to hit me!

I have a recently acquired 600E fly barred heli and also bought my first fbl 450 heli, a mini titan e325s with a GT5.1 3x giro, its an awesome giro with touch screen programming, i really cant believe how much easier a 450 fbl is to fly! I also have an old mini titan fly barred heli, i have bought a fbl kit with a fu-bar (vbar clone) from hobbyking just to see if it works as it don't matter if i trash it, i eventually want to put an original vbar on the 600E

I can't afford to, that's why i want to try out an upgrade on the old mini titan first :-) i do know an expert that might help me convert the 600E one day though if i ask nicely?

Mines still going strong on the 450 with no problems at all, Absolutely love it

I had around 15 flights on mine with no issues at all, but have just sold my 500 so had to take it off.
I was that impressed with it i bought another, i might put one of them of a 550 V2 airframe i have just bought
