My Turnigy 3D-H arrived yesterday (after it being shipped from Hong Kong on the 3rd via UK direct postage! 3 day postage is pretty impressive) fitted it to my 450pro last night, set up is pretty much identical to the beastx, felt good in the air, nice and solid, just need to play with the tail a bit as was suffering wag, but thats more mechanical than anything as was suffering the same on previous fbl unit.
Only thing it's lacking is sat ports but that's no real big problem.

Did you use the supplied foam pad?
I have my beastx on maplins tape

I used some super sticky car body trim foam tape on mine, same stuff I use on all my units.

Turnigy FBL controller

Can anyone help me to power this FBL unit up. I am used to the AR7200BX all in one system.
I am trying to fit this to my trex 500.
I have an esc with separate bec and using a AR8000 receiver. I have bound to the receiver ok but can't get the FBL unit to light up. I have the bec plugged into throttle channel and the esc in bat/bind port.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Dan, I think you have it vicky vercky with the ESC and BEC... ESC needs to go into Throttle and BEC needs to go into Batt/Bind port if i'm not mistaken. Rick

I have the esc on throttle and BEC in batt/bind port but I'm still getting no power to the FBL unit
Can anyone please send me a photo of their 3D-H on their Heli . So I can see the wiring.
The wiring diagram is very straight forward, its just the power I'm struggling with.

Are you sure your BEC's working? cant see any reason why it wont power up.

so has any1 got both units if so which 1 is the best did the trunigy beastx v1 manage to update and has any1 got a flight test of the fu bar sorry just updated internet explorer and now the enter button dose not work any more very strange

Info on the Fu Bar so far is extremely positive,flight vids are appearing,i like this one.

Cant wait to try mine out,dont expect any dramas as its effectively a V Bar in a cheaper box as its running the original firmware of 5.3

Are you sure your BEC's working? cant see any reason why it wont power up.

The BEC was ok last week when I took the AR7200BX off to put on mu 550 but its possible I suppose.

It's working now. I'm such an idiot, I had the wires upside down (brown to the top) on the FBL unit, same as they are in the receiver. Doh!!

Sounds good, where did you get the Fu bar from?
