thinking of going fbl on my 550

some advice would be great

i have a jr xg8 tx rx does any fbl controlers work with this and just sats ???
or do i need to change tx to a dx8 or somthing ??

Will work with most unit via a dmss rx as most use dsmx or dsm2 Sats

no your be stuck with a rx until someone caters for dmss

The skookum SK540 and 720 will work with dmss but thats about it I'm afraid, you'd have to use your rx

im sure that jr are working on an s-bus system,not sure if that helps things

Very good from all accounts. If you want to go V Bar then you'll have to leave your Rx on. All depends on how much you want to pay for which controller you go for, anything from £150 ish for a BeastX to your £300 for V Bar and Skookum I think is around that money

Also found you can use tags o1 from jr , so will work

Go on youtube there are setup video etc, never used one myself. But I would say they would be pretty good. As most jr stuff
