  • Cool Power ?

Does anyone use cool power ?

I have just swapped from Wildcat 20% to CoolPower 15% and all seems well so far.

Its certainly a lot cooler, but engine seems to be a bit more thirsty, probly due to less nitro content ?

Whats your thoughts on this fuel ?

It's fantastic fuel, that's why it's so expensive. It will protect your engine and bearings like no other.

I used to run Cool Power 15%, but have now switched to Rapicon & Optifuel due to the cost of Cool Power. I found it good and engine wear was good with little deposits.

I have been using it since 1998......Tried others but always went back to coolpower......Currently running 30%.....Consistent running is more important than cost IMO

And before it starts we don't need a this fuel is better than that fuel debate (again) LOL :-)

i only changed from cool power fuel due to supply problems as it was always sold out
              it says it all
apart from the supply thing i've never had a problem with coolpower fuel its great stuff
the fuel i use now isn't as good but the supply is a lot better

I used to use coolpower 15. it's lovely but at £23.99 it's too expensive plus our LHS never has it, they have loads of 30% which no one uses round here, perhaps they need to get loads of methanol and do some blending. blend on and on and on.. lol lol

I'm using Coolpower 30% and have used Coolpower since it came to the UK in about 1998. I tried Wildcat and I tried Model Technics but for high power applications I just can't beat the consistency of Coolpower 30%. I have to confess I haven't tried Magnum or Optifuel as yet though.

I've used coolpower and found it brilliant. The only thing that stopped me using it was like for like quantity compared to Optifuel (Or lack of ) And after pouring a full bottle of coolpower into an empty Optifuel bottle I didn't take too kindly to the fresh air at the top Great fuel though, just expensive when flying a ninety.
